Ichthyostega ce5f7d5e06 BufferProvider: new reworked implementation validated and complete (closes: #1410) ... After an extended round of analysis and cascading reworks, the long-standing discrepancy between `OutputSlot` and the ''Buffer Provider Protocol'' (#1395) has finally been resolved.
