bb6401aaf3 BufferProvider: reshape diagnostics into a decorator
The intention is to build the tracking functionality from scratch,
while wrapping the old implementation as delegate. Hopefully this allows
to reduce the complexity of the existing implementation step by step,
until I'm ''able to grasp what this implementation does''.

This old implementation works, but is highly problematic code.
The Git history shows that I had already problems to understand this code
while building the DiagnosticOutputSlot, one year later.

To my defense, in both cases (2011 and 2012), I had no clear idea yet
how the processing within the engine would work, and thus I considered
that Buffer Type registry a mere implementation detail, that can be
lumped into the »code behind«.

d00992ff70 BufferProvider: start with some requirement analysis
It seems evident that the the problems with the existing BufferProvider implementation
are rooted in a lack of understanding of the actual usage situation at that time(2011).
This caused a »hexagonal design«, i.e. something entirely driven by uint testing
for the sake of unit testing.

So to identify the unsuitable decisions, some degree of deductive work is necessary,
based on our much better understanding of the Render Engine.

A crucial challenge is that buffer management must perform well
within a massively concurrent environment, and do so without excessive latency.

3fe6d5f54c BufferProvider: define standard usage as test case
This picks up the work for [ticket:1395 resolve integration of BufferProvider with DataSink (#1395)]:
Almost a year ago, before the long hiatus due to important general clean-up
and maintenance work, and the research regarding Video output —
a discrepancy was discovered between the »Buffer Provider Protocol«
and the »Output Slot Protocol«. This mismatch prevents us from building
a simple preliminary `BufferProvider` to be used for the engine integration
as part of the [ticket:1228 »Playback Vertical Slice«].

After re-establisihing the work context, I have read through the new
Render Node code built last year, and distilled the sequence of
buffer management operations that actually happen during a recursive
`pull()` call. With this kowledge, I am now able to fill in the
''standard case for rendering'' — which I was unable to formulate
during the first attempt of building the Render Engine in 2011.

__Next Steps__: Redesign of the standard implementation base of the
`BufferProvider` to prepare for a massively concurrent usage.

806db414dd Copyright: clarify and simplify the file headers
* Lumiera source code always was copyrighted by individual contributors
 * there is no entity "Lumiera.org" which holds any copyrights
 * Lumiera source code is provided under the GPL Version 2+

== Explanations ==
Lumiera as a whole is distributed under Copyleft, GNU General Public License Version 2 or above.
For this to become legally effective, the ''File COPYING in the root directory is sufficient.''

The licensing header in each file is not strictly necessary, yet considered good practice;
attaching a licence notice increases the likeliness that this information is retained
in case someone extracts individual code files. However, it is not by the presence of some
text, that legally binding licensing terms become effective; rather the fact matters that a
given piece of code was provably copyrighted and published under a license. Even reformatting
the code, renaming some variables or deleting parts of the code will not alter this legal
situation, but rather creates a derivative work, which is likewise covered by the GPL!

The most relevant information in the file header is the notice regarding the
time of the first individual copyright claim. By virtue of this initial copyright,
the first author is entitled to choose the terms of licensing. All further
modifications are permitted and covered by the License. The specific wording
or format of the copyright header is not legally relevant, as long as the
intention to publish under the GPL remains clear. The extended wording was
based on a recommendation by the FSF. It can be shortened, because the full terms
of the license are provided alongside the distribution, in the file COPYING.

fc9ff9252a Invocation: clarify role of Buffer-Descriptor and Dependency-Injection
It became clear that a secondary system of connections must be added,
running top-down from a global model context, and thus contrary to the
regular orientation of the node network, which connects upwards from
predecessor to successor, in accordance with the pull principle.

If we accept this wiring as part of the primary structure, it can be
established immediately while building the nodes, thus adding a preconfigured
''pattern of Buffer Descriptors'' to each node, since there is no further
''moving part'' — beyond the wiring to the `BufferProvider`, which thus
becomes part of a global `ModelContext`

As an immediate consequence, the storage for this configuraion should
also be switched to `lib::Several` and handled similar to the primary
node wiring in the Builder...

e82dd86b39 Library: reorganise test helpers and cover logging tracker object
...these features are now used quite regularly,
and so a dedicated documentation test seems indicated.

Actually my intention is to add a tracking allocator to these test helpers
(and then to use that to verify the custom allocator usage of `lib::Several`)

a90b9e5f16 Library: uniform definition scheme for error-IDs
In the Lumiera code base, we use C-String constants as unique error-IDs.
Basically this allows to create new unique error IDs anywhere in the code.

However, definition of such IDs in arbitrary namespaces tends to create
slight confusion and ambiguities, while maintaining the proper use statements
requires some manual work.

Thus I introduce a new **standard scheme**
 * Error-IDs for widespread use shall be defined _exclusively_ into `namespace lumiera::error`
 * The shorthand-Macro `LERR_()` can now be used to simplify inclusion and referral
 * (for local or single-usage errors, a local or even hidden definition is OK)
